The unlocked version of the Google Nexus 6 is pricey ($649), but it earned its place on the list of the 2015 top 10 smartphones in the U.S. with its Android 5.0 operating system and humungous 6-inch screen. Its speed and lasting power (the battery can last over seven hours-long enough for a transatlantic flight. Its size, however, is nearly as large as a mini-tablet, which may turn off some users who have to stuff their cell in their pocket. With its stereo sound system, though, the Nexus 6 will be jut right for music lovers. It also earned the “Editors’ Choice” award, as well as four and one-half stars.
