At sixth place, the iPad Mini 2, which offers most of the features that the Mini 3 has, save for the fingerprint sensor and ApplePay, offers a Retina display, iOS8, and many more trademark iPad amenities. It is, however, available for $100 less than the Mini 3.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is seventh among the tech magazine’s 2015 top choices. Its top of the line 2.3 GHz Quadcore processor and its large, bright screen make it an excellent choice for both business people or artists. Its $599 price tag, however, may cause some to steer clear of this tablet.
